Video Lessons

As a professor at a number of the music conservatoires in London, I come across the same issues with students... I thought what might be more fun ( rather than doing individual 'Skype' lessons etc..) would be to do videos on some of these issues. If enough of you ask about the same things, then I can cover the problems in a video and show you altogether. We are all still learning, but maybe I have a few pointers to show you.

 

I'll put a few free videos up to get us started, but have a yearly subscription system that you can subscribe to and see ALL 'The Goodness'.

I am in the process of putting together a new study book, showing you all some hip lines and patterns that can open up your improvisation.

Plus some Play-a-long downloads 'with a difference' that are HARD ( I mean 'Challenging') played by the incredible

During Lockdown...I thought we all needed some inspiration for our practice. I hear a lot of Trombone players all playing the same language and felt that I could throw out some new methods in the way we all approach the trombone and the way we think about Improvisation.

 

As a professor at a number of the music conservatoires in London and the UK, I come across the same issues with students... I thought what might be more fun would be to post some quick videos, getting straight to the point, and sharing some ideas.

A couple of years later I have over 20,000 followers on instagram and a thriving Patreon Community. It's totally brilliant and amazing how it has taken off.
